Our Mission

Expanding access to affordable housing for families and veterans.

We believe stable housing is a critical platform for safety, opportunity, and long-term self-sufficiency.

Why affordable housing matters

When housing costs consume too much of a household’s income, every other part of life becomes harder to stabilize. Housing insecurity can disrupt employment, education, healthcare, family stability, and a person’s ability to plan beyond the next crisis.

Our mission is to help create safer, more durable housing options for low-income families and veterans.

Assets behind the mission

Housing acquisition

Acquire housing assets that can support the Foundation’s mission over time.

Rehabilitation

Restore and improve properties so they can provide safe, useful housing rather than remain distressed or underutilized.

Stewardship

Maintain housing responsibly and preserve mission-aligned affordability and stability.

Support should meet people where they are.
Housing can be the first stabilizing intervention. Where appropriate, the Foundation can work with community partners and service providers to connect residents with additional resources.
